Minerva Edu and GonuAI have come together for a collaborative initiative.
On July 28, they signed a partnership agreement to promote artificial intelligence (AI) education.
As the digital education era transitions, educational companies based in Gimhae and Busan have joined forces to enhance and establish AI education.
Minerva Edu (CEO: Chu Cheol-min), an edtech company in Gimhae, and GonuAI (CEO: Hwang In-su), the Korean agency for Intel’s AI educational content, signed a memorandum of understanding at GonuAI's Busan office.
The agreement includes commitments to:
- Collaborate on activating Intel’s AI educational content projects and participating in events
- Jointly develop AI educational content
- Supply and promote Minerva Edu’s “Kkurum-e”
- Supply and promote GonuAI’s educational content
Hwang In-su, CEO of GonuAI, stated, “The development, utilization, and dissemination of education and diverse related content using AI are not just options but necessities in a rapidly changing domestic education landscape.”
He expressed gratitude towards Chu for actively sharing and supporting GonuAI's vision and direction, adding, “We will strive for the growth and development of both companies and work towards innovation and transformation in the education sector.”
Meanwhile, Minerva Edu operates under the slogan “Evolved Education, New Thinking, Bigger World,” providing creative integrated education, robotics and software courses, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and PBL (Project Based Learning) certification training, and hosting competitions. They are expanding their business scope with the online collaboration tool "Kkurum-e," alongside their AI-based educational initiatives.
GonuAI combines the traditional Korean game “Gonu” with artificial intelligence (AI), developing and delivering educational services based on Intel's content and tools suitable for the Korean education context, providing content that merges education and technology across various fields for efficient AI education.
