"Making New Challenges Natural"… Minerva Edu Completes Crowdfunding Education
Crowdfunding education to create a better world was held in Gimhae, South Korea.
Gimhae-based edtech company Minerva Edu conducted a crowdfunding training session for local citizens at the Gimhae Youth Center in Jinyeong on July 24-25, as part of the "2024 Jinyeong Business Crowdfunding Support Project."
Hosted by the Gimhae Bioindustry Promotion Agency and organized by Minerva Edu, this program aimed to enhance the self-reliance of businesses in Gimhae and Jinyeong, support business activation, and establish a culture of entrepreneurship and funding in the region.
The training attracted about 20 participants, including business representatives with crowdfunding experience, individuals interested in starting businesses, and small business owners.
The training featured a lineup of speakers, including Choi Dong-cheol, Vice President of Wadiz, Kim Mi-ri, and Woo Chang-sung (former head of the Wadiz PD team).
Wadiz, a "life design funding platform," has expanded its business areas beyond funding to include store, space, finance, and partnerships, supporting the growth of startups and small enterprises through a comprehensive D2C (Direct to Customer) platform.
Vice President Choi introduced the structure, advantages, and applications of crowdfunding, along with successful case studies categorized by theme, and essential policies to understand when engaging in crowdfunding.
Woo focused on practical methodologies, teaching participants how to plan funding stories, set funding amounts, and create attractive content suitable for crowdfunding. Kim provided insights into promotional and advertising strategies for crowdfunding.
Chu Cheol-min, CEO of Minerva Edu, expressed, "By simplifying and educating about the somewhat unfamiliar field of crowdfunding, we aim to activate youth entrepreneurship and increase the number of self-reliant businesses. We will continue to work on related education and projects to strengthen Gimhae's industrial and economic foundation."
Meanwhile, Minerva Edu is an edtech company focused on enhancing youth team project capabilities through creative education, robot, software, and AI lectures, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) integration education, project-based learning (PBL), certification training, and competition organization. They continue to expand their business and activities, with "Kkurum-e," an online collaboration tool for team projects, as their main content.
