On August 8 (local time), Choo Cheol-min (right), CEO of Minerva Edu, is pictured with school officials after signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the utilization and supply of AI digital education content, Kkurum-e, at CCCS School in Cebu, Philippines.

Minerva Edu, an edtech company based in Gimhae, announced on August 9 that it has entered into an agreement with a Philippine educational institution to provide educational services and content.

On August 8, Minerva Edu signed an MOU with CCCS (Cordova Catholic Cooperative School), a Catholic school for middle and high school students with approximately 1,900 enrolled. As part of the agreement, Minerva Edu will supply its team project-based collaboration tool, Kkurum-e, to CCCS, enabling Filipino students to receive advanced education starting from the fundamentals of computer education. The collaboration will also involve the development of educational curricula and AI digital education content.

CEO Choo Cheol-min stated, “This agreement aims to advance the UN's Sustainable Development Goals of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education, promoting sustainable economic growth, and reducing inequalities among countries. As a global edtech company, we will continue to strive to spread quality education worldwide.”
