Minerva Edu, a resident company of the Gyeongnam Content Enterprise Support Center, participated in an overseas volunteer activity in the Philippines from July 28 to August 11, in collaboration with the Korean Robot Volunteer Corps.
During this activity, domestic middle and high school students, who have been learning robotics for over a year, taught local students in the Philippines about robot coding, software, and artificial intelligence.
Preparations for the participating students were facilitated through “Kkurum-e,” an educational tech platform developed by Minerva Edu. Kkurum-e is a collaborative document system based on templates, featuring easy project organization and real-time simultaneous document editing, which streamlined the training for the volunteer activity.
Since becoming a resident company, Minerva Edu has enhanced Kkurum-e through various support programs from the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Foundation. This year, they are also upgrading the system based on user feedback, adding features like maintaining academic records.
In addition to the volunteer activities, Minerva Edu contributes to the community by hosting a marketplace and donating the proceeds.
